RESP works on issues that cannot be tackled or solved by one company, one government or one institution alone. Our major strength is our multi-stakeholder structure where the role of each stakeholder is determined by the advantage and area of influence brought to our work. All activities, outputs and outcomes rely on strong collaboration between our members and partners.
It is the partnership between private and public that makes our work relevant and unique. All of RESP’s activities must have the participation of the key stakeholders: government, companies, research institutions, civil-society organisations and local communities.
Our multi-stakeholder and cross-industry nature provides a unique operational basis for knowledge sharing and skills transfer, as well as developing cross-sector strategies and business models while also enhancing South-South cooperation.
